About Us

Han Beauty Lab explains Korean skincare the way it should be explained: by ingredient. Not "10 products you need" — but what niacinamide actually does, why routine order matters, and which claims on the bottle mean something.

K-beauty is often sold as a ritual with a lot of steps and very little reasoning. We work the other way round: start from the ingredient and the skin concern, then decide how few steps you actually need. Every article follows our published editorial policy, and advertising is always clearly separated from editorial content.

What we cover

  • Routines & how-to — order, frequency, and how to introduce an active without wrecking your barrier
  • Ingredients explained — what it does, typical concentrations, what it pairs badly with
  • Skin types — oily, dry, combination, sensitive: what actually changes in the routine
  • Skin concerns — texture, dullness, pigmentation, and where cosmetics stop and a dermatologist starts
  • K-beauty trends — what is genuinely new versus what has been renamed

What we do not do

We do not accept paid reviews, publish invented ratings, or claim that a cosmetic treats a medical condition. When the honest answer is "see a dermatologist", that is the answer we give.
